Steps for making Road with Highly Elastomeric POLYMER


  1. Dig the Road, upto 6 inch or 4 inch If Gravals is less then 60% then add balance gravals

    (Ratio required – 60% gravals : 40% mud or sand)
    We are saving Environment by not digging out mountains / land for gravals


  2. Spread Portland Cement evenly as under

    100 mm depth road – 5 kgs per sq.mtrs.
    150 mm depth road – 8 kgs per sq.mtrs.


  3. Mix mud/sand, cement & graval (GSB), properly with Grader


  4. Spraying of Polymer mixed with water evenly

    Ratio per sq.mtr.

    100 mm depth – 1 kg Polymer + 4 kgs Water

    150 mm depth – 2 kg Polymer + 4 kgs Water

    At this stage 60% Polymer should be sprayed on above mixed Graval, Cement & Mud/sand

    Note

    1) Take care sparyed material should not dry out till Compaction
    2) Sparying should be even. So entire material is mixed well.
    3) Take care that, wetness after mixing should be such that, it should not stick to hands after 2nd or 3rd round


  5. Back-to-Back Mix all Ingredients with GRADER MACHINE homogenously


  6. After mixing, Level the Road, with GRADER MACHINE and make proper sloping on both the sides, for water to flow


  7. Compact with 10/15 Tons Roller

    First Compact on sloping of one side
    Then Compact on sloping of other side
    Then Compact from centre (to develop proper slop)


  8. Spraying of Polymer mixed with water on above COMPACTED Road surface, with Back-to-Back compaction with 10 / 15 Tons Roller

    At this stage balance 40% of Polymer should be sprayed on compacted surface.

    Compacted road surface should not stick to Roller. To avoid sticking, spray water continuously on roller


  9. Finally, do the brooming on treated surface with back-to-back roller compaction, This will resulted that slurry will come on surface and road becomes waterproof.

  10. Allow to cure the road for 48 hrs.

    (Only small Cars can be driven after 24 hrs)
